Group Events Coordinator

and by giving each guest a memorable experience.
The Group Events Coordinator will be responsible
for assisting the Groups Events Manager and the Director of Group
Programs while managing the details for large and small group meetings
and events. Some of the essential duties are:
- Develop and maintain solid relationships with
local hotel/resort concierges and convention groups
- Daily planning, communication and execution
of group programs and events
- Must have the ability to overcome obstacles
and communicate effectivley to deliver results.
- Ensure clients needs are met through efficient
staff direction and motivation
- Work with sales staff and contact business
leads to develop relationships
- Prepare quotes and supply rate information
to interested clients.
Skills Required:
Excellent customer service skills, Great communication
and negotiation skills, Solid leadership skills, Have a positive
attitude, Able to develop process and gain team commitment, Microsoft
Word, Excel and Outlook, Solid knowledge of local resorts, hotels
and popular destinations, Prepare quotes and rate sheet.
